Mike Dillard Tells
There’s no pussy footing around when Mike Dillard tells it like it is. That’s what I liked about Mike’s latest newsletter. He doesn’t sugar coat anything or pat you on your head and tell you everythings gonna be alright. He says, Sh_t or get off the pot, do it or not, there’s two choices…
…either choice will get you what you want.
I guess the real choice is in realizing the truth in what you want. If you don’t succeed, the truth is that you never really wanted to succeed.
If you are not willing to do the work then your desire for success is just a lie to yourself. What you really want is failure. Because if you really want success, then you will do whatever it takes to get there.
If the truth is that you want success then your failures won’t matter, you just get back up and do it again until you get it right. Mike took some of this college classes three times before he passed them. Did he let his failures stop him from reaching success?
One of Mike’s biggest message is education. No one is going to take your hard knocks for you. You have to learn on your own or it’s not yours and you’ll never really get it.

“I never complained, I never whined, I never bitched, I never blamed anyone other than myself, and I never gave up because I would have rather spent my life in poverty trying than to have lived it in resignation that I didn’t have what it took.
If you want what I’ve got, you’ve got to be willing to do what I’ve done.
You’ve got to earn the right through blood, sweat, and tears, and there is NO alternative, so don’t ever ask me or anyone else if there’s an “easy way” to do something.
